As the time spent using mobile phones increases, battery consumption also increases. Ordinary chargers can no longer meet people's requirements for charging speed. Fast charging and flash charging have successfully replaced ordinary chargers and become commonly used chargers. But looking back on the past, mobile phone chargers did not have such high fast charging technology from the beginning.
1、Two batteries and two charges
Two-battery and two-charge is a mobile phone charger that comes with the purchase of a mobile phone. It is composed of two batteries, a cradle charger and a line charger. The cradle charger is designed to charge mobile phone batteries, and the line charger is designed to charge mobile phones.
However, two batteries and two charges also have shortcomings. At that time, mobile phone interfaces were different, and once the matching charger was damaged, it was difficult to find a matching charger.
2、Universal charger
In order to solve the problem of two batteries and two charges, in 2003, a company in Shenzhen developed the first universal mobile phone charger in history - Universal Charger. As soon as the Magnum Charger was launched, it achieved unprecedented popularity. The first batch of hundreds of thousands of trial orders were all sold out within three days.
Although the universal charger solves the problem of being able to charge all mobile phones, it also has certain hazards. Long-term use will cause battery performance to decline too quickly and shorten its service life. If it is a copycat version without quality assurance, it is very easy to damage the internal circuit of the battery, resulting in short circuit, explosion, etc.
In addition, the contacts of the universal charger are not firm, and it is very easy for the battery to fall off when connecting the battery, and the battery must be disassembled to charge, which is inconvenient to operate.
3、USB ordinary charger
In June 2007, my country implemented a unified standard USB interface for all mobile phone chargers. In 2009, the standards for data cables were unified. At this point, the first generation of USB ordinary chargers was born.
The current and voltage of USB ordinary chargers are 5v2A or 5v1A, which are used by Android and Apple respectively.
This charger makes up for the shortcomings of all previous chargers. It can charge all mobile phones without disassembling the battery. And there has also been a qualitative leap in charging speed, which can fully charge a mobile phone in 5 hours.
4、Fast charging & flash charging
With the development of society and the acceleration of people's life pace, the speed of ordinary chargers can no longer meet people's needs. Fast charging and flash charging have become our commonly used mobile phone chargers today.
There are three types of fast charging, namely QC fast charging, PD fast charging, and SCP fast charging. Flash charging is a fast charging technology independently developed by OPPO, which is faster than fast charging.
It should be noted that fast charging can only be performed if the mobile phone supports the fast charging protocol, otherwise it will still be charged normally.
5、wireless charger
Although wireless charger technology received multiple patents in 2007, it has not yet fully matured. Moreover, the use of wireless chargers requires that the mobile phone supports the wireless charging (QI) protocol before wireless charging can be performed.
Currently known supported mobile phones include Apple 8 series and above, Samsung S6 series and above, Huawei mate20pro, Huawei Porsche, etc. In addition, most mobile phone brands do not support wireless charging. Therefore, compared with fast charging chargers, wireless chargers have higher requirements for use and are used by relatively fewer people.
As can be seen from the above, not only mobile phones are constantly being updated and upgraded, but mobile phone chargers are not far behind and have been creating better products for users.
